Aileen Leventon founded QLex after 30 years of practicing law, serving as a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and Blaqwell, Inc., and supporting turnarounds of several organizations. As a management consultant, Aileen has advised general counsels, practice group leaders and operations managers on improving organizational effectiveness and enhancing the value of legal services.
Through this work, Aileen observed that the key barriers limiting profitability and client satisfaction may be traced to the same source -- lawyers generally lack fluency in practical business skills such as project management, budgeting, data analysis, and firm economics.
